About Brenton

I'm Brenton Johnson, Managing Director of Uptake Digital.

I help organisations make better technology decisions, strengthen their cybersecurity and build IT environments that support their people rather than get in their way.

At Uptake Digital, I lead a team providing managed IT, security, cloud services and strategic advice to small and mid-sized organisations across Australia. Much of our work supports not-for-profit organisations, where dependable technology, responsible spending and trusted relationships are especially important.

My approach is practical and straightforward. I believe technology should solve real business problems, reduce risk and make work easier. That means giving clients clear advice, setting realistic expectations and recommending solutions that are appropriate for their organisation, not simply what is newest or most complex.

I'm particularly interested in cybersecurity, Microsoft cloud technologies, modern device management and helping organisations improve the way they plan and govern their technology. I also enjoy working closely with leadership teams to translate technical issues into clear business decisions.

Above all, I value long-term relationships, honest communication and doing what we say we will do. My goal is to ensure every client feels informed, supported and confident about the technology behind their organisation.
